Timing and delivery: the entire process takes approximately 4 weeks from order to delivery. Once contributors submit their messages our team designs your book and sends you a complete digital proof to review. You have 24 hours to approve or request changes. Once approved your book goes to print and ships directly to you. Planning for a special date? Let us know your deadline when you order and we will do everything we can to make sure the best personalized gift arrives when it matters most. Need the book sooner? Contributors: each book includes space for up to 25 contributors — plenty of room for meaningful stories from family, friends, and colleagues. Additional contributions can be purchased through your portal. Contributors have 7 days from the day you select your start date to respond. We recommend sending one reminder 3 days before the deadline and a final nudge on the day of. Yes you can add more contributors after sending the link as long as the one week contribution window is still open. All contributions remain completely private until the book is finished. Only you will see the messages first when you review the digital proof and then when the finished book arrives. We require a minimum of 20 pages to produce a hardcover book which is typically around 10 to 15 meaningful contributions.

Design and print: yes you can preview the book before it is printed. We send you a complete digital proof showing every page exactly as it will appear in print. Nothing goes to print without your approval. If something does not feel right we make the changes needed until you are proud to give this gift. When you place your order we automatically generate 7 personalized questions based on the recipient information you provide. You choose up to 3 or write your own. Contributors answer a total of 5 questions which takes about 10 minutes. Yes contributors can include photos alongside their messages up to 5 photos per contributor. By default we ship to you so you can present it in person but we can ship directly to the recipient anywhere in Canada or the United States if needed.

Extras and add-ons: the Essential Hardcover features a classic printed matte cover in 7 colour options with an optional photo on the cover. Yes you can upgrade to the Premium Cover through your portal any time before the book goes to print. Extra copies can be purchased through your portal for $75 each.
