2. Information We Collect

From buyers, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address. We also collect details about the recipient of your book including their name, occasion, and occasion date, as well as how you heard about us. Payment information is processed securely through Stripe, we will never store your card details.

 

From contributors, we collect the name, email address (if provided voluntarily), relationship to the recipient, written messages, photos, and responses submitted through the contributor questionnaire.

 

From recipients, we collect the name, email address, and any reaction or feedback submitted through our recipient form after the book is delivered.

 

From website visitors, we collect analytics data through Google Analytics including pages visited, time on site, and device type, as well as cookie data described in Section 7.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to process and fulfil your order, communicate with you about your order status, and send automated email updates related to your order such as collection open notices, deadline reminders, and shipping confirmation. We also use data to improve our services. We will only send promotional emails if you have explicitly consented, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

 

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

 

4. Third-Party Services

To operate our service, we work with trusted third-party providers for payment processing, website hosting, email delivery, and analytics. These providers may process your personal information on our behalf, and each operates under their own privacy policy. We only share what is necessary to deliver our service to you. 5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil your order and provide ongoing support. Order information including names, addresses, messages, and photos is deleted within 90 days of your delivery date. We will retain a copy of your order data beyond 90 days only if you have indicated you may wish to reprint your book in the future, and only with your knowledge.

 

Financial transaction records are retained by our payment processor in accordance with applicable tax law. We do not store payment details ourselves.

 

You may request early deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@mytimelessmessages.com. Please note that once order data is deleted, reprinting will not be possible.

 

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to improve your experience and collect analytics data. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.
